Buyer's Resource

How We Get Paid

Having the advantages of our services on the buyer's side does not raise the cost of a listed home a cent!

Most of the residential properties that change hands are MLS listings of a broker who has established with the seller a listing contract which typically features a provision for a brokerage commission of 5%-7% to be included in the selling price. There is commonly a provision that this commission will be split between the listing broker and any other licensed broker, including one who only represents the buyer. As licensed, exclusive buyer agents, we simply receive that second half of the commission from the selling price. If you purchase a home directly through the listing broker by calling in response to an ad or a for sale sign, that listing broker is entitled to a "double dip" (in industry jargon) commission and you will not be represented by a buyer's agent.

So call Buyer's Resource before you call on an advertised property or from a yard sign. We will get all the informatino to you and we will provide representation for you...and it will not raise the cost. Get all the details on this important issue, from a broker on your side.
